How do CEO-TWO - Suppositories (CO2) work?Upon insertion, the pre-moistened suppository reacts with the moisture present to produce carbon dioxide gas. Rather than stimulating the bowel using chemicals, this CO2 gas gently expands the lower bowel and creates a reflex stimulation resulting in an urge to empty the lower bowel. It works within 30 minutes. These suppositories prevent painful cramping and diarrhea, and there is rarely a second urge to defecate. This is the Enema in a Suppository form!
