The lubricating spray coats the inside of the ostomy pouch to stop stool and stoma output from sticking to the top of the ostomy seal and the ostomy wafer. Stool can get stuck and cause the ostomy bag to become dislodged or cause a leak. Lubricating deodorant sprays help the inside of the bag remain slick, stool doesn't get stuck because it falls to the bottom of the pouch. Esenta makes emptying your bag easier so ostomy system changes are faster, cleaner, and more discrete. ESENTA Lubricating Deodorant can be used if you have an colostomy or an ileostomy. To use ESENTA, spray 3 pumps of the liquid into your ostomy bag at each pouch cleaning or change. Each 8 oz bottle will have around 68 applications. Can be used at home, work, or traveling. The extended wear formula can last all day.
