It also creates a more streamline profile under your ostomy wafer, making it more discreet. A ring barrier acts like a caulk to fill in uneven skin folds around the stoma. This helps prevent output from going underneath the ostomy wafer, which can irritate skin. This product is made from a latex free elastic material and can be cut or stretched to best fit your body.
